The 3M IDC Ribbon Cable Socket, 891 Series, is designed for reliable interconnection in .050" pitch cable applications. These sockets feature preassembled packaging on swords for efficient manual and semi-automatic assembly. Key advantages include a double-recessed cover for versatile cable termination, military polarization options, and optional double-sided adhesive pull tabs for easy unplugging. Designed to prevent premature latch locking during shipment, these sockets accommodate 26 and 28 AWG stranded wire.
